Earthquake!

There's nothing like an earthquake to get your heart going, especially after a very spiritual and uplifting General Conference.

As of right now, 4:30 pm, Sunday afternoon, we've felt at least 4 earthquakes. The biggest one, a 7.2, hit Baja California around 3:40 pm. I was at my computer and Ashley was scrapbooking on the floor. We moved away from the bookshelves and the sliding glass door, so we wouldn't get injured if the shaking got worse. The shaking was very obvious - we could see the piano rocking back and forth on its base.

Aftershocks have kept us attentive. Some of the epicenters of the aftershocks we're feeling are as close as about 50 miles from home and they are ranging in magnitude from 3.5 - 5.1. See http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/ for earthquake information.

Want an adventure? Experience an earthquake. Better yet, be prepared for one, especially if you live in California!
